enbrel & headaches

Hi All

I've been taking enbrel for a few weeks now and i get a headaches on the 5th day after injecting has anyone else had this problem?

It's early days and I guess when we take any of these sort of drugs into our bodies we may get some reactions but put your mind to rest and have a chat with your Rheumy nurse or biologic nurse. Hopefully they should have given you a contact number or email for them for just this sort of query,

They won't mind and they have lots of knowledge.

Good advice from birthday girl.

I'm on Enbrel , 11 weeks on Wednesday. In the first few weeks I was getting thick draggy headaches about two days after the injection.

They seem to have worn off with the latest few. I took paracetamol and went about my business. The Enbrel Nurse told me it wasn't uncommon.

Hi Hannah, I have been on Enbrel for nearly 6 years I have some chest infections and kidney infections but apart from that it gave me back a life. No I haven't had any headaches just rash around the I had injection. Hope all goes well for you!

I have not experienced any headaches due to Enbrel. But that doesn't mean that yours are something else. Just in case, though, you should either call you doctor or Enbrel support.

Hi I try enbrel for 4 weeks and I did exprerince light headechs the last shot I had I exprerince rush on the area I injected also Iwas tyred... Well my insurance did not aprobrobe they want me to try humera first and I will start my first one tomorrow hooping that this one helps.

I took Embrel for nearly nine years and I suffered from migraines randomly, which fortunately stopped as soon as I came off Embrel. Luckily the migraines were well treated using prescription medication for migraines (Sumatriptan)
