NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 23rd November 2015
Thanet NRAS Group
Meetings take place bi-monthly at The New Life Family Church, 8 Church Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1ST from 6:45pm-8:15pm on a Monday.
23rd November - Guest speaker: Lisa Mackenzie, Occupational Therapist
Swansea NRAS Group
Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9AR on a Monday from 7:30pm-9:00pm, please see meeting dates below. Car parking adjacent and full disabled access.
23rd November - Christmas Dinner! Please confirm attendance by calling NRAS on 01628 823 524 (ask for Kim or Gill) for booking at Olfach House, Sketty, Swansea for 6pm.
Salisbury NRAS Group
The group meets bi-monthly at Sarum College, The Close, Salisbury SP1 2EE (free parking available) from 6:30pm-8:30pm on the last Wednesday of every other month.
25th November - Guest speaker: Claire Walters, Physiotherapist
Plymouth NRAS Group
Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). The group meet in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD.
26th November from 12 - 3pm (please note this meeting will start an hour earlier than usual) Guest speaker: Dr Mark Perry, Consultant Rheumatologist from Derriford Hospital will host a Q&A session - please prepare your questions for Dr. Perry
West Middlesex NRAS Group
This group meets at Hillingdon Baptist Church Halls, Patterson Room, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, Middx, UB10 9LS. Meetings run from 2:00pm - 4:00pm quarterly on a Thursday.
26th November - Guest speaker: Colin Morris from the DWP
Wirral NRAS Group
The Wirral area NRAS group have a new venue and are now meeting at Asda Arrowe Park Superstore, Woodchurch Road, CH49 5PD on the last Thursday of every month from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. (Please go to the customer services desk where someone will show you to the meeting room). *Please note there will not be a December meeting, regular monthly meetings will resume on 28th January 2016.
26th November - An Occupational Therapist will be talking to the group about coping with back pain associated with RA
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
