Washout therapy

I'm about to commence washout therapy for leflunomide. I have to work while I do the required cycle. Has anyone got experience of this.

If the pain/stiffness are too much, then you could ask for a steroid injection to cover the transition period?

I haven't done the washout but the process was discussed with me when I started on LEF. The main thing I remember is them saying that that the cholestyramine mix you have to drink is 'very gloopy'.
