NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 21st September 2015

Swansea NRAS Group

Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9AR on a Monday from 7:30pm-9:00pm, please see meeting dates below. Car parking adjacent and full disabled access.

21st September - Tara Hammett, Personal Trainer will present 'Life Style and Exercise for People with RA'

Medway NRAS Group

This group meet at the Medway Health Staff Social Club at Medway Maritime Hospital, Windmill Road, Gillingham, Kent ME7 5NY bi-monthly on a Monday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

21st September - Rheumatology Consultant, Dr Srirangan will hold a Q&A evening

Thanet NRAS Group

Meetings take place bi-monthly at The New Life Family Church, 8 Church Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1ST from 6:45pm-8:15pm on a Monday.

21st September - Celia Johnson, Physiotherapist will be holding a Pilates session

Oldham NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at St John's Ambulance Headquarters, Busk Road, off Ellen Street, Oldham, OL9 6QY on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

22nd September - Yvonne Lee from Age UK Oldham will be talking about the services they provide

East London NRAS Group

The East London NRAS group are holding meetings in the meeting room at the Kobi Nazrul Centre, 30 Hanbury Street, London E1 6QR.

Thursday 24th September - 7:00pm - 9:30pm— 'A picture is worth a thousand words - treatment decisions in Rheumatoid Arthritis' by Dr Stephen Kelly, Consultant Rheumatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust

Isle of Wight NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at Laidlaw Day Hospital, St Mary's Hospital Campus, Dodnor Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight on a Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

24th September - Guest Speaker: Dr Pugh (Consultant Rheumatologist) will present 'New Medication Update'

Plymouth NRAS Group

Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS . The group meet in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 1pm-3pm.

Wirral NRAS Group

The Wirral area NRAS group meet on the last Thursday of every month in the Education Centre at Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

24th September - Guest speaker: Lisa Girvan, Occupational Therapist, topic: 'Hands'

St Helens NRAS Group

The group meets every other month in Room 8 at St Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St Helens, WA10 1HP from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Thursday 24th September - 'Mindfulness' by Holly Hawtin, Occupational Therapist
