Effects of coming off Enbrel?

I have had to stop taking Enbrel for 2 weeks before a forthcoming operation, which I have done any time before, but this time I feel dreadful. It is impossible to sleep yet I am tired and I get the "runs".

Has this happened to anyone else?

i have come off Enbrel for a few weeks several times, for several reasons over the years, and have not noticed any difference in my RD nor had any side effects. I think this may be just something else with you eg a virus so ask your RD nurse of GP for reassurance x

I had to come off my Enbrel for 8 weeks until recently because of spinal surgery but had no major problems. My left ankle which periodically swells did so again but has now settled again. For PA pain control I take Amitriptyline at night so this probably helped with sleeping. Perhaps your problems came from another source?
