Just a quick post to remind anyone who can get to Glasgow that we are launching our new group (NRAS & GG&C Health board joint venture) on

WEDNESDAY, 16th September, 6.30 to 8.00pm

At:-

The Renfield Centre at St Stephens Church

260 Bath St, Glasgow, G2 4HZ

The meeting is free, open to everyone with inflammatory arthritis, their family and carers. You don't have to be a member of NRAS to attend. The venue is wheelchair friendly.

We will have a keynote talk from a local rheumatologist, a question and answer session with 5 health care professionals, and there will be lots of information available.

We are hoping to continue with monthly meetings, when we can have fun, fellowship, interesting speakers, local information, and mutual support. Any suggestions welcome!

You can pm me if you have any questions or ideas.

To register, so that we know numbers for refreshments and seating, email groups@nras.org.uk, or ring Kim or Gill on 01628 823 524.

There are presently no NRAS groups in Scotland, and hopefully this will be the first of many. See you there!

Mavis x

Would like to come but apart from RA OA I now have right sided femoral nerve damage. As I live about 40 miles away I could not drive that far. If you could put a resume of the meeting I would be grateful. Good luck hope you have a great meeting.

Hi Cagsie

I'm sorry that you can't make it, we do intend to have meetings outwith Glasgow on occasion, so perhaps you will be able to come then. I will report back on the launch, and future meetings. You could register your interest online or by phone, so that you will be emailed about future meetings, in case you can get in the future.

Thanks for your good wishes, we are all feeling very positive about the groups future. Mavis x
