Dear All
We are really pleased to announce that NRAS are launching a new group for people living with rheumatoid and inflammatory arthritis covering the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area this September!
With the support of the GG&C Health Board and a team made up of local NRAS Ambassadors and Members, we have planned the launch and information evening for Wednesday 16th September 2016.
The event is taking place in The Renfield Centre at St. Stephens Church, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4HZ from 6:30-8:00pm.
This meeting is a joint venture by NRAS and GG&C Health Board, and is open to anyone living with RA or inflammatory arthritis, and their family and carers. It is a free event, everyone is welcome to attend, and you do not need to be a member of NRAS.
It will be an interesting and informative meeting, where you can discover ways of managing your RA, discover the resources and support available through NRAS, and your local rheumatology units.
There will be a presentations from representatives of NRAS, a keynote talk from Dr. Anne McEntegart, Consultant Rheumatologist and Clinical Lead of the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Rheumatology Managed Clinical Network and a question and answer opportunity with a panel of expert healthcare professionals.
The group will meet regularly, offer mutual support, information and give patients a chance to meet local health professionals, and contribute to the development of services within your local area.
If you would like to attend please let us know so that we can ensure adequate seating and refreshments, or to be added to the mailing list for notice of future meetings please contact Kim or Gill on 01628 823 524 or email groups@nras.org.uk.
Thank you
Kim
