Does anyone find that flares happen at the most random times? I've just come back from a 4 day Spa break, very relaxing and lovely with friends, and I'm now in agony! I wouldn't mind if I could at least figure out a trigger!
Flares really are random!: Does anyone find that flares... - NRAS
Flares really are random!
I've found recently that I have good and bad days alternatively. Just odd but that's how it seems to happen. And I cant isolate something I do that makes it worse. About the only thing I can find is the length of time I sleep. A disturbed night, getting up several times is better than sleeping from 11-8. Odd isnt it.
Hi do you think that when you are doing something nice and enjoying yourself that your body relaxes and adrenalin takes over as I had a similar experience after been away with friends. I was so happy to see them and having a laugh and feeling good then for couple days after I was drained again. Laughter and pampering is such a good thing for us but then nasty ra comes back just to remind us it's still here! Xx hope you are feeling better Xbox
I have had RD for over six years now and there's never been a pattern to flares. Stress seems to play a role in giving me brain fog. We'll just have to take the good with the bad and appreciate the good all the more. Hope you feel like you did at the spa again soon. Hugs.
Human being always want to find a pattern - that's what the the physicist talking about the weather said - and she said that she didn't think that there was one to the weather that we could reliably project.
I think our bodies are like the weather - there are so many variables that it is almost impossible to find a pattern. Occasionally something stands out as always being a trigger - and we can avoid that possibly - but usually it just comes out of the blue.
