Counselling : Hi all..I'm in scotland (southwest) does... - NRAS
Counselling
If you contact your GP and they can then refer you but from what I've heard it takes a while to see someone encaustic of the amount of people they see.
I hope this helps.
Hi Mohikan22
Have you spoken to your GP to see if they would be able to refer you for a course of counselling? Worth asking, and they might also be more aware of the services in your area.
Hope you find something suitable.
Also, if you wanted to talk to someone about the RA and how it is affecting you, you are of course welcome to call the helpline. We aren't counsellors, but we do have a good understanding of the condition and are here for information and support if you need us. The helpline is available Mon-Fri, 9.30-4.30 on 0800 298 7650.
Kind regards
Victoria
