Bowel problems

Hi all

Diagnosed with RA in January this year. On Mtx 15mg and folic acid. Left off ibuprofen and omeprazole 2 weeks ago. 5 years ago diagnosed with diverticular disease following colonoscopy. Despite a really healthy diet have bad constipation/slow transit. No abdominal pain.

Can anyone help?

Hi though I can't really give much advice but I too have diverticulitis and apparently is quite a common thing as you get older, I do have IBS too which is more of a problem for me, but when it's constipation/slow transit as you describe I find Fybrogel is the best thing to take (in the morning). I do know someone who used to get it on prescription so you try asking your GP.
