There was one I loved as a child (that & Puff the Magic Dragon & Nellie the Elephant but they're not relevant to the question!) Swinging on a Star, released long before I was born but I think mum & dad must have had the record, Walking back to Happiness too, Helen Shapiro was a favourite of dads.

Hi nomoreheels, no I haven´t been on here for ages, I have been keeping well thanks, hope you are too. I posted earlier this afternoon though. No I didn`t have a star necklace. Had Marc Bolan feather boa though! Looks like we could be similar ages , both Glamrockers !! I will be 59 at the end of this month, (can`t believe it´s my big 60 next year)

I saw That'll be the Day at the pics but I couldn't get in for Stardust, how daft is that! I remember being so shocked about the decline of the character in Stardust when I eventually saw it, how naive was I?

Lol we only went cos you saw his chest in the bed scene , our cinema wasn't too strict but we really makeuped up lol we probably still looked too young ha ha ha ! But yep got in by trickery !
