Well I finally managed my mri on my back. Had to go to Croyden last Friday so could go in the open mri scanner. Still struggled but proud of myself that got through it. Results due on 17th March just hope it's something they can sort out. Hope your all doing ok out there as first time been on for ages

Hi, Glad you got through having a MRI, I have the same problem. I am being referred to another hospital as I moved about 6 months ago. 't heard of a open unit though. Hopefully, this will be a larger MRI unit as I know they come in different sizes. I went to see the surgeon last week and he said they will probably need to do a full assessment and an MRI. I reminded him of the last MRI where I had a panic attack and couldn't sleep for weeks afterwards as every time I closed my eyes I could see myself in the scanner.
