NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 23rd February 2015
Isle of Wight NRAS Group
This group are meeting for coffee at: The Bear Cafe, Honnor and Jeffrey Dalverton Garden Centre, Newport Road, Sandown PO36 9PJ on Wednesday 25th February 11am.
North East NRAS Group
The North East Group run quarterly educational meetings which are held in the Education Centre, Level 1, Freeman Hospital, High Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE7 7DN from 5.30pm-8.00pm.
26th February - You are invited to a talk by Dr Ken Baker, Dr Nishanthi Thalayasingham, Dr Faye Cooles and Dr Gary Reynolds entitled 'Rheumatoid Arthritis research in the North East'
Plymouth NRAS Group
Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). The group meet in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 1pm-3pm, please see below for meeting dates:
26th February - The group will be looking into exercises for joint flexibility
West Dorset NRAS Group
2015 meetings will be held bi-monthly at the Dorchester Community Church Meeting Room, Acland Road, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1EF on a Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm.
February 26th - Guest speaker: Cindy Shaw Fletcher from Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group.
Please come along to hear Cindy speak and more importantly to be able to ask her about the lack of services in the Rheumatology Department, especially in Dorchester Hospital. Also about the funding of more Biologics. This is your opportunity to ask questions and hopefully receive some answers!
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
