Anyone else got.....

Am I stupid? Just found my Tibia, got sort of lumps on it. I know I have had them for a long time as my Aromatherapist says she has seen them in others. But what are they? Bone growths like the spine does? Osteophytes? They don't hurt in any way. Strange?

I have a lovely bumpy tibia. Not sure what it is, but seems to go along with my spondyloarthritis.

Did ask GP today but he ignored me. On that point. Guess it is normal and associated with age, RA OA or wonky legs.

I do too but never associated it with RD! I used to be clumsy as a child (not helped by Clark's bull-nosed shoes!), always falling over or crashing into things & was always bashing my legs on the bed frame getting in bed which hurt as it was a metal frame in those days. Mine don't hurt either but got me thinking maybe it is related?

The only way to tell is to ask your GP if its normal contour or whether you need an xray. :) Good luck.

I have bumpy tibias too, always have ever since I can remember. I don't think it is significant and isn't associated with RD. Perhaps think about why you are concerned? Bringing to the surface of your mind concerns that you have can help you to understand why you are worried.

Not really worried just wondered what they were. I do aromatherapy massage and they just feel funny. So thought I would ask. I knew they were nothing as I'd had them so long but nice to know others have got them.

Hiya Jo! You suffered them too then? I was always happiest when it was summer because then it was into the Birthday sandals, not too clumpy lol! What was even worse was when they were new mum got a size too big to "grow" into them humpph. :(

Hope all is well, you're ok & you had a good Christmas, not too frantic ( hope your mum & Callum are ok too)? x
