I went to work on Tuesday and I was ok , I could hobble with not too much pain, after work I got the bus home ( using my new Disabled bus pass) When the bus arrived in town I could not walk because of the pain!! How is it possible that things can change so much in 20 minutes!! It was so bad my husband collected me from the bus stop with my wheelchair!! I had to ring in work this morning to say I couldn't even stand, that meant I couldn't attend my one to one about redundancy!! It doesn't look as if I will be able to stand tomorrow either, the pain is excrutiating whenever I put weight on my left knee or right ankle so no doubt it will count against me when they do the scoring. On the plus side I have been awarded PIP with no hassle, standard for day to day living and enhanced for mobility, so I get free travel all day with the bus pass ( my council fund all peak time travel free for disabled people) and I will be getting a blue badge. Plus if I cannot work I get more time to spend with my granddaughters.

I'm sorry you're having so much pain. I hope it short-lived! However, I'm glad you got the PIP and the disabled bus pass. You got some good with the bad. I'm glad you get to spend more time with your granddaughters. Best wishes to you!
so glad you got your pip more are getting it now hope you feel better soon
Sorry you're having so much pain at the mo, but pleased you've been awarded PIP.
It is unbelievable how quickly the pain can come on. It's awful
Thank you all for your comments, I do feel better now and will attempt work tomorrow, I have also come to a decision about redundancy, my husband has told me that he would prefer me not to work as he hates seeing me in pain (nice man)then added he can still call me "flid" (horrid man) lol!!
