Please see below details of the NRAS groups meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meeting—Week Commencing 23rd June 2014

Cambridge NRAS Group

2014 meetings are to be held at Arbury Community Centre, (corner of) Campkin Road/Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2LD, unless otherwise stated. Please see below times and dates for these meetings.

24th June - 3.00 to 5.00pm – ‘More than just Pain’: Coping with the psychological, emotional and social impact of RA by Jill Bloxham, Rheumatology Practitioner, Addenbrookes Hospital

Oldham NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at St John's Ambulance Headquarters, Busk Road, off Ellen Street, Oldham, OL9 6QY on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm unless otherwise stated.

24th June - Clare Jacklin, NRAS Director of External Affairs will be giving a talk on: 'The Impact of RA on Emotions, Relationships and Sexuality'

Banbury NRAS Group

The Banbury NRAS Group will be meeting in the Training Room of the Horton Hospital, Oxford Road, Banbury, OX16 9AL for their first group meeting following the launch. Please find full details below:

Wednesday 25th June - 2:00pm-3:30pm - Guest speaker Maureen Cox, RA Nurse Practitioner, will be giving a talk on 'Understand Medications Used to Treat Inflammatory Arthritis'. If you would like to join the group for this FREE meeting, please register your attendance with NRAS by calling 01628 823 524 or email groups@nras.org.uk.

West Dorset NRAS Group

The West Dorset group have re-located to a new venue! The remaining 2014 meetings will be held bi-monthly at the Dorchester Community Church Meeting Room, Acland Road, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1EF on a Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm, unless otherwise stated.

26th June - Carol Jones will give a talk on osteoporosis and bone health

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!

ARE THERE NEVER MEETINGS OUTSIDE OF ENGLAND???????

I'm sure if you're in the UK if you contact the NRAS team & let them know where in the country you are they'll provide you with information of the closest support group to you & the next meeting date, if they have it. It may be that you've missed the update for one in your area.
