FREE managing long term pain course in the Bath area

NRAS are pleased to inform people living in the Bath area of this FREE adult educational course. It introduces Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which includes tools and techniques known to be effective for managing difficult emotions. People who attend any of the GP surgeries listed in this link are eligible to attend if over the age of 18

People can experience long-term pain for many reasons and it can be very challenging to manage. This course aims to help people understand more about long-term pain, including some of the things that can make it worse. The focus is on the techniques that can help better manage the pain and improve quality of life.

Courses run over 4 weeks, from 20th May 2014

Sessions to be held on a Tuesday afternoon between 14:00 and 16:00

at Bath NHS House, Bath.
