Good morning all,

Please see details below of NRAS groups meetings taking place this week:

Plymouth NRAS Group

Phil & Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group

Support). *CHANGE OF LOCATION* Meetings from October onwards are now being held in the meeting room at

St Budeaux Library, The Square, Victoria Road, St Budeaux, Plymouth PL5 1RQ.

Free unrestricted parking is located in Percy Road or the council car park which are both within 100 yards of the library.

15th October (2-4pm) - Guest speaker will be talking about Aloe Vera

Bath & West Wiltshire NRAS Group

2013 meetings are held on a Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm at The Open House Centre in Manvers Street Baptist Church, Bath BA1 1JW, please see scheduled meeting dates below.

16th October - Mark Elmer, Specialist Orthotist at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath - ‘What can be done for the rheumatic foot?’

Pembury & Tunbridge Wells NRAS Group

Rheumatology Nurse Janie Langridge and NRAS Volunteer Members co-ordinate this group and hold their meetings at Langton Green Village Hall, Speldhurst Road, TN3 0JJ on a Thursday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Donations of £1 appreciated.

17th October - Counsellor/Psychologist, Sarah Collins will be talking to the group

Cambridge NRAS Group

2013 meetings will be held at Arbury Community Centre, (corner of) Campkin Road/Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2LD on a Wednesday, unless otherwise stated below.

Thursday 17th October 6:30-8:30pm - 'An Update on the Management of Rheumatoid Arthritis' presented by

Dr Andrew Ostor, Consultant Rheumatologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!

NRAS Thanet: Launch and Information Evening Wednesday 20th November

Thanet Rheumatoid and Inflammatory Arthritis information evening is being held on Wednesday 20th November 2013 from 6:30pm at The New Life Family Church, 8 Church Street, Margate, Kent CT9 1ST, with the support of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital. Join us for 'Question Time' with an expert panel including healthcare professionals from the rheumatology team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and representatives of NRAS.

If you would like to attend please contact NRAS on 0845 458 3969 or email groups@nras.org.uk by 6th November. All welcome - you do not have to be a member of NRAS to attend. This is an open, free event.
