Thinking of you. Now that your mum in law is being looked after properly, you may be able to rest easily.

Like you feeling very tired, but more from my busy weekend in London. Pain in hips, knees and ankles. Restarted all drugs with little effect.:-(

Oh no, I still think my Humira is helping although my DAS was 9.5 . Started hydrotherapy which is helping but tiring xx

That was me a week ago, thankfully Mum now settling in, tomorrow is a hard day when everything is removed from the house, family came over to get things they wanted it's as if she's died but she hasn't, I was so exhausted too, have now got the start of sore throat and cold, but thankfully the pain in hands and feet subsiding as the stress disappears, but thinking of you.

Same too, unfortunately she is an aggressive lady and boy did I cop it again but at least this time I had witnesses! But can leave her to be looked after and if it's selfish or not it can only help my health

Not selfish at all Allanah, and its about time someone heard going on at you. Now you can rest my friend.xxx

Not selfish at all, one can only do so much , I had no help from family for years, then when I was diagnosed with RA, Mum knew the stress of it all was taking it's toll on me, but now we can concentrate on ourselves, and you know your Mum in law will be taken care of.

Yes there's only me and her son, he is running a company so I had to do it but especially when I got sick he had to step in and it was taking it out on him, so I called in social services who have been amazing xxx

My gosh Allanah, I so hope you will very soon get rested, relaxed, pain free and especially, enjoy the dance :) I too know the stress and initial worry of moving a Mum to a home. We all worried about how she would settle in or if she would be unhappy. But, we were fortunate, she adapted pretty well, got involved with all the planned activities. So I hope it goes that well for your muminlaw. Take good care. xxx

Hi Allanah,

I'm glad to hear that the hurdle of packing up and moving your mother in law has been crossed. I'm sure that the physical and emotional toll of this will now make itself felt, so lots of rest and tlc for you missy! There will be a great relief from the constant demands on your time and energy and the worry and responsibility - hopefully once she's settled in her temper will ease and your dealing with her will be more relaxed and enjoyable. You've gone above and beyond the call of duty, so no guilty feelings please:-}

Now focus your mind [whilst lying down and resting] and limber up for cyber-Strictly!

To be honest have been her usual aggressive and nasty self made it easier for us, she has never been a good mum in any way or grandmother ,so it's just great now that we don't have to worry about shopping washing finance all the time, intermingled with this has been bAd news re my feet, been at hospital last couple of days and get my metal foot splints fitted today. Oh well at leAst tonight will be fun xx

Your one of the first messages I’ve read. Although, it is tramatic for you to place anyone in a nursing home, but your words of fatigue got my attention. I am new to my diagnosis, and hearing words like fatigue is reassuring that it's not in my head. I pray you will get your needed rest.
