Sorry no one has answered this question of yours yet Caroline - I've never heard of this syndrome but if you thought it was shingles it must be nasty. I hope someone can discuss this properly with you but all I can offer is my sympathy I'm afraid. Tilda x
Ah thanks Tilda. It's a thickening of the top of the sternum where it meets the clavicle and involves the chest wall, neck and shoulders along with spots or pustules in some cases. I found a lump at the top of my sternum which was very painful. It's apparently associated with psoriatic arthritis and possibly the hbla27 gene! Very painful, especially at night. Xxxxx
Poor you - I do hope its treatable and you don't have to suffer for too long. X
