I would be grateful if anyone has had any positive pain relief from these advertised creams and capsules they have used recently to manage their arthritis. My pain is not to bad and i can manage the everyday things i have to do.

Question on buying online remedies for pain relief.
There is a useful report on a range of different complementary therapies based on research by Arthritis UK - who are a proper organisation so I trust what they say. makes interesting reading, and suggests that most things are not worth spending money on. Link to it is here.....
At the moment I'm in a lot of pain in my ankles, I've had some paracetamol and when it's time I have some Tramadol this together with my morphine patch plus I have my feet in an electric heated boot lol and I'm no where near pension age lol, the boot has really helped me a lot today.
If you have any luck please let us all know.
Happy hunting.
Philip
I would never use creams or tablets without speaking to your rheumatologist first so many complimentary medicines can react badly with the drugs we take for our RA
However for pain relief without pills I can recommend
Hot wax baths ( you can buy from Argos and sainsburys) to ease hand and feet pain
Tens machines for back pain and can also be used on knees and other areas
HEAT I use electric heat pads, the heat in a click heat pads, wheat bags and the disposable plasters and all help ease my pains a little
Or cold packs depending on the type off pain I'm in mostly heat helps but with swellings cold helps better.
I've also got a heated massager seat in our car (me as passenger)
A hand held massager to use on back, legs arms etc
It don't shirt my pains completely I'm still on mst morphine, oramorph, prefablin etc but all the above certainly make a big difference to me
Hope you get some relief soon
