Yes, I swapped from pills to needle because of side effects and it's been great. All gone now! Really, really helps.... Polly

Hi yes I switched from tabs to 20mg injections 2 months ago, it was the best thing I could have done .. No tummy side effects. You go to the injection clinic for the 1st 2 injections to learn how to do it and then do it yourself. To be honest I found the idea a bit daunting but it's really easy to do and now don't even think about it :)) ..Claire

Hi mickyb. I started off on the tablets then went onto self injections. I did unfortunately suffer with nausia for a couple of days, i was never sick just had the feeling. They took me off them but because things aren't good at the mo they want me to go back on them, because i am not working now i think i might give em another go. X Alison

The MTX sub-cut are so much better, go for it, you'll get used to it very quickly believe me,

Hi I went from MTX tablets to injections because of the side affects and now I have no side affects and it is really easy to do once you have been shown by your rheumy. Do give it a go, you will be much better i'm sure.

Yes I was a lot better on injections but unfortunately it just didn't work for me so they swapped it o another dmard, there are lots of dmards so don't feel stuck, but injections were simple.

Go for the injections - not only may it reduce side effects but the drug itself may also be absorbed better and be more effective (as my rheumy had advised and this was indeed the case for me). Doing the injections is fine, it stings a bit afterwards but it's no big deal - give it a go and best of luck xx.
