Well two weeks done.

Today is the start of week 3

I’m loving my new found freedom.

Don’t get me wrong there are some moments I could murder a cigarette.

But it soon passes.xx

You are doing exactly what is necessary, get an urge....find a distraction....... I found changing around my routine has been helpful also. Enjoy your freedom from cigarettes🚭🔠 Jeff

Congrats Michelle. It is a vicious habit to beat, but it is beatable. The few months are tough, but it gets better with time.

Just keep that positive attitude ...You must !!!

I found around the 3rd / 4th month , from out the blu the cravings started , many will say the same ..

You’ve just got to treat it the same , but it’s weid as you’ve got used to the idea that you’ve quit and all is forgotten , well it was with me then as said , Ravi gs creeep up ... so keep your guard up ..

Even now I’m still getting a few reminders , I think with the summer here and relaxing , having a bbq and a drink can be little reminders that you would normally have a social puff ... bloody unsocial I say now lol ..I hate it 😂😂

So ...be on your guard and stay positive because if I can do this then I m pretty sure anyone can xx

Thank you.

Your right, That’s what happened to me in March. I had given up for 7 weeks nearly going in to the 8th week, when from. Nowhere can the feeling that I needed a cigarette.

I took it for so long,

I couldn’t bare it no longer.

Went and had a puff or two.

Same with today.

But I’m not listening.

Gonna just breath through it.

Thank you for the advice.x

As I’ve said to someone else , I’ve smoked best part of 25 years ... the addiction and everything else , cravings etc isn’t going to go away in a spate of months I’m pretty sure ...

I gave up as I got ill , I think if I hadn’t got ill id still be smoking as I was one of those

“ yep , I’ll give up one day “ people !!!

So getting Ill and being told to stop and was a pretty frightening exp done me a big favour... I guess some of us need that to stop .. as tempting as it does get , I just cannot go back to it ... just no way I can ever draw on a ciggy or a vape again ...

so you just stay positive..majority of the time it’s cool and totally forgotten about .

😎xx.
