Just hit my 6 months nicotine free as of the 22nd. I just want to give all my fellow quitters some strength. Chest tightness, shortness of breath, fatigue, change in bathroom habits will all fade. I highly recommend drinking a cup of caffeine free tea everyday, upping your vitamin b intake that includes niacin. I went through a rough battle the chest pains have completely faded away, your lungs will be sore for quite some time depending on how you long you smoked, but you have to bare the course as this is truly the greates well one of the greatest achievements I’ve ever had. This community gave me the strength from day 1 - day 180 I’m very happy and feeling extremely energized and healthier. Continue to fight this as it’s an uphill battle but it’s well worth it. Press on my friends and if you have any questions I will always reply

Absolutely amazing, still haven’t quit. Currently in Italy eating dinner with my wife and in laws she’s 6 months pregnant and I have been eyeing my year mark. Still having the tightness in the chest from time to time but I think it’s from sleeping with two pillows lol. Also noticed that my lungs are still clearing out. Do you know when it ends lol. Thanks Roisin for checking in. Thank you for the support and continue to press on friends

Congrats on the 6 months!!! I am at 9 months and I'm so happy because I'm finally able to get sleep without taking a 3mg melatonin at night for sleep. I took one every night for 4 months until recently. I'm also happy that I am not having acne breakouts anymore. I thought that would never end lol You are so right about it being an uphill battle. Things get gooder and gooder everyday :) Stay positive and God bless!
