Welcome to our community helenpw1962 and huge congratulations on 6 months smoke free, that is great!

Are you quitting cold turkey or with aids - loss of appetite is unusual when we stop and quite the opposite with our increased sense of smell and taste - for me anyway :P

With regards the teeth bleeding, would go to your dentist for a check up as this is a common withdrawal when we stop as smoking causes serious damage to our teeth and gums and when we stop are left with the aftermath unfortunately.

Persume with a nicotine level in it? Perhaps now that you are 6 months try reducing the nicotine level - for the tiredness you are experiencing, your local health food shop should be able to recommend some herbal supplements to help with it, lots of water, fresh fruit and veg and a little walk every day to clear the head....

Nicotine level is 3mg but don't use vape every hour of day I get longer in between puffs. It's been 4 hours since last puff on vape

Ok...

It may be another unrelated smoking issue with the bloating and loss of appetite then which we can't advice here and would be best to seek professional medical advice....

Have a read of other members here stories of gradually moving away from the vaping - e.g. Nozmo, thinlizzy54 and Abuelajeannie who are all over a year smoke and vape free....

Welcome helenpw1962 - as you are at the 6 months mark and not using the vaping often, set a goal to reduce the nicotine and come off it altogether....

Well done on 6 months!

Good to have you on board here with us helenpw1962 - definitely recommend trying to wean yourself off vaping - will more than likely help with the tiredness and appetite loss, with regards the gum bleeding, make that appointment with your dentist for a check up as gum disease is masked when we smoke and is common to rear its ugly head when we stop smoking :)

helenpw...I called it the "wrath of the nicodemon''.....which is in some sence true..Nicotine is a very strong stimulant and whilst smoking we feel strong and happy...;The moment we stop we also stop the stimulation effect and we feel like S*^t .....(Sorry could not found another better description of that total blah feeling.;..!)

Roisin gave the best advice and you need to supplement...Go herbal then there is no change that it will become just another addiction....but you need to revitalize....Strongs !!!
