2 Weeks on my cold turkey quitting journey...

and feeling good, things seem to have settled down but know need to keep my guard up and continue to take one day at a time....

What I have noticed this week is my newfound sense of smell and taste, can smell 'fresh' air again, haven't smelled the summer air in years, well my early teens But the taste of food is just amazing now, my wife is a chef and does alot of experimenting with recipes with herbs and spices, can taste them now and its so good

Congrats Exfirecracker on 2 weeks quit and great to see you are plodding along nicely. That curry looks delicious, I too am a chef (just recently qualified, long story short, went back to college to follow my dreams and done a professional cookery course). My taste buds are just mental now - the longer your quit the stronger they become!!
