Combination of wife working away, having a s**t day at work and this glorious weather is making me think about sitting in the back garden and smoking when I get home. I'm not going to, just can't stop thinking about it.

I hear ya Nozmo, weather glorious here too, off for the remainder of the week and it has come into my head that a smoke would be lovely alot today, what is it about the good weather and smoking.  To give you a good laugh if not already seen before try looking up on youtube "Chucky Bus Stop Pranks", hopefully will cheer you up or maybe I just have a sick sense of humour!

Don't know what it is about the weather, just conjures up thoughts of sitting outside, usually with a pint, and savouring a cig. I know I get like this which is why I started the quit in Autumn/Winter!

Came across it a while back on facebook, everyone was going on about it and how funny it was, I actually think I would just freeze if happened to me!

I wouldn't, I would run away, screaming! Saw a similar thing a while back with a scary clown thing leaping up out of a skip. Everybody ran away apart from one bloke, who delivered a perfect boxer's right hook to the dummy, cool as you like.

I keep imagining the sailors with the name of the boat on the ribbon around their hats...gets me every time.

When we were at Gatwick on our way to skiing the kids and I had tears streaming down our faces laughing about it

its funny how we think of smoking.a beautiful day.why cant we win mind over matter.smoking doesn't matter and it doesn't do anything for us ⁉

Yeah, looking after him, doing surprisingly great, not in the severe pain (touch wood!) expected for the next few days.   He will be a new man going back to work in hopefully 2 weeks time....

Did you hear Victoria Wood passed away today?   Loved her in 'The Dinner Ladies' and thought of you when heard the news...

Ah I'm grand, if had a box of smokes in front of me the last hour would have smoked, have a good few life memories from his music, he was only 57...

The kids are keeping me busy, they're good at doing that 😀

Just had to go to the shop and walk past the pub, with loads of people sitting outside in the sun, smoking and drinking. Aaaaaaaargh!

Enjoy the sun Lizzy. I'm going to go out after tea to bask in it myself. No tabs though!

Isn't, it torrid when your having one of those days, never easy when your other half is away,  add to that a very unpleasant day work wise is, in my book at least a double blow.

I so hope some of the replies have already, for a brief moment made you smile,  and I don't mind, you can think of smoking for ever. But you just can't do it, you can't, 

Will keep every thing crossed including my toes tomorrow is a much improved day.

Feeling much better now. Work over, chores done. In half an hour the kids will be in bed and I plan to spend the rest of the evening with a cool blonde temptress - Mademoiselle Stella Artois!

Feelings towards cigarettes back to normal.
