Well that was terribly easy, a whole year gone and never missed it for a moment. Smoked for 42 years and assumed that it would be so hard to stop that I never bothered. Tried stopping and didn't miss it at all, should have tried years ago!

Thank you both for the congratulations! I'm pleased, but to be honest I don't really think about smoking at all, it was so easy. The reason I know it's a year is because I stopped when I was sowing my last field last year, I haven't even started sowing this year, it's been so wet. I was checking up on the dates when I realised! I look at smokers now, driving about, standing outside pubs and just think they're mad! Suppose I must be a non-smoker now!
