Not sure, for new eye!!!!

I so wish I knew how to do photos, As don't want my family to give opinion, by that it's because, they will always be cautious in what they say.!!!

So yesterday, went back for eye fitting, and the guy would not let me look untill I got home I don't know what the point of that was?

So feeling ,a little down with it all, but god news still not smoking it's on my mind but I won't.

Life is oh so cruel some times, so still hanging on.

Yes he just said I had to look when I got home, no mirror in the room and as I needed a mirror to take out, nothing else I could do.

And yes they do say beauty is within, but I promis you that is not the case, I know that for sure!!!! But I know what you mean my lovely so THANKYOU

Very odd I feel Tea, I do have a photo, it's just all acover up from two failed private squint ops, just difficult, I guess sticking anything in your eye is going to be noticeable, I feel very very ugly, not great

Tell you what Tracey, if the prosthesis is anywhere near as good as my OH's falsie I bet you look a million dollars.

I think the others are right- anything as different as that is bound to take time to adjust to. Wait until you get used to looking at it. I'll bet you'll start to feel your confidence begining to return soon.

I'm really pleased to hear the eye has been fitted now though- it's been such a long wait. And may I say I think Tea's advice is spot-on? Having your eyebrows shaped & dyed professionally is great fun and can really lift your spirits (and appearance).
