I'm doing fine, for now...

Week three is officially over. 21 days have now passed since I last gave in to a craving. I'm starting to feel like life is settling down into a regular pattern which I am comfortable with. My sleeping patterns are starting to return to normal, and I have found new things to do when my cravings used to be highest (early mornings and lunchtimes mostly).

My last quit lasted 7 months so I realise that I cannot get complacent, however my method for that was Champix, which, I would say, is a lot easier than CT. I'm proud of my progress thus far and hope to be passing my previous best in just over six months on my way to claim a place in the coveted penthouse.

Hope everyone's day is going well. Keep fighting the good fight. N.O.P.E.

Yes those threes are renowned for being difficult, but your pushing on to a better place, and proud you should be, a treat well deserved I think.

Now just a little note, you say ( I hope to ) now I know this is a error as it should read I will get to the penthouse.

I know it's just torrid at times, but doing great, well done you

Well done Keith- you'll not only beat your previous PB, you're going to cruise to the Penthouse in style. Only just over 11 months and we'll be cheering you home. The time will pass and increasingly swiftly. Good for you mate. :)

Good stuff Keith. I don't think I've made 7 months before, so you did well. if you can do it then you can do it now. I've always used Champix myself for quits, and haven't experienced the withdrawals that must come from CT.

Thanks for all the support, you guys are awesome. I think the combination of Champix and the forum were what got me to the seven month last time. Even this time, I feel the benefits of reading the posts here. If nothing else, they distract just enough that the thought of smoking has passed on by.

Thanks again. And Tracey, you are right! I should have said "I will be in the Penthouse in 343 days"
