When I struggle, Mrs Badger gets the clockwork orange clobber out and we watch these together.

She wants to quit after and she doesn't even smoke.

Remember: No benefit in smoking, not even looking cool.

Welcome, Badger, and congratulations on your quit. I'm sure Mrs Badger will be very proud of you. :)

How long has it been so far?

well, 17 hours and 35 mins! I smoked the last one up at 00:00 (finished then) so its nice and easy to remember how long its been :P.

She was pretty wound up I threw the last quit, but we'll see how this one goes!

That's great Badger :D

I was just reading your introductory post. You'll soon be past the two week mark again and before long the two week milestone will be way behind you.

Just hold on, keep posting and tell yourself that every minute that passes is a minute in the quitting process that you will never have to go through again.

Hi Badger.

Been where you are and I wish you well. I cant express that on the outset that it was an easy task (cause to be honest the first 5 days were awful) it certainly felt like a chain around my neck and I felt like I myself were going to combust.

15 days on and seriously, Im well, the cravings have well been lifted and I feel so so good. Im loving the comradery and support in this forum and feeling stronger as every day goes by. Sunday past was a trying day for me and I was angry which I didn't think to be honest could happen again, but my coping mechanism was "any away will do" (meaning whatever stressed me out - could still be coped with, I just found something else to do.)

I wouldn't have been without the help from everyone in here. Its nice when other people can listen so I urge you to log in and blog often if you can. If you need any support we are all here to help each other through those difficult days ahead.

Well done on making the right choice for the rest of your life.

I know this is my last quit and this is my time. I no longer wish to be ill from the act and the positives certainly outweigh the negatives from refraining.
