My father lived in a nursing home for around a year before he finally died. Whilst he was there, he was measured up for a new electric buggy which he was very proud of, but he never did really master the art of driving it. When he went on one of his pioneer trips in it he inadvertantly ran into a little old lady who lived three doors down from him, nearly knocking her over. She wasn't best pleased (as she had a false leg and her balance was precarious at the best of times) and from there onwards, if ever she passed his door, Dad would without fail point at her whilst loudly saying: 'That's the one! That's the old bag with no sense of humour!'

It was mortifying....
