I have been taking Chantix sense 4/14/14. At first I did not know if I should take it because of the side effects, but I am glad I did. At first, the Chantix mad me feel weird, but I got use to it. The dreams are weird, but I like them. It made me tired but not any more. I gradually lowered my cig intake. this past Saturday I only smoked 4, Sunday I smoked 1, and Monday I quite. I have not even thought of a cig in days. I have been smoke free for 4 days. with little thought of those little cancer sticks. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:

Well done mmings2 on your quit, and welcome to the forum. Glad your getting on with the champix and it's working for you, keep going bud, one day at a time in the early stage. You can do it.
I was with a friend today which smokes non-filter cigs. I took every thin in not to ask for a cig. I said, "DO NOT SMOKE, YOU COME TOO FAR TO GO BACK " , So I just ignored the feeling, I did it , beat the addiction this time.
hello and welcome and congrats on ur quit just dig those heels in and u will be fine champix works really well but its not a miracle drug it still takes hard work but they definately help that hard work seem easier while starting out but then it gets easier i used champix twice first time gave me bad side efects so went off them tried them again a month later and not a single side effect but then i was also determined to quit and without that determination champix wont work but sounds like your there stay strong u can beat this if i can anyone can and it definately gets easier even when u hear stories like after 10 years people still get cravings its bs yes u can get slight urges but not cravings and they disappear in like 0.002 seconds
