I'm Kirstie and I'm on day 5 of quitting. I never thought I'd get this far to be honest and I think the worst might be over when it comes to cravings and restlessness. I'm hoping I do as well as you guys on here!
Hi: I'm Kirstie and I'm on day 5 of quitting... - No Smoking Day
Hi
Hi and welcome, you are doing awesome, keep going my lovely
Welcome Kirstie, yeah the first week is the worst.
Good fun on here though so that helps.
Welcome Kirstie.....5days in is brilliant, nearly over the 1st week
5 days is a fantastic achievement Kirstie!
You're doing really, really well and should be extremely proud of yourself. You'll have put a full week behind you before you know it.
A big welcome from me to the forum. You've come to the right place as you'll get tons of support, advice and companionship here.
Everybody is so lovely already and success stories in here are definitely motivating!
Yes the success stories are great. Also if you trace back long term quitters you can see that they struggled early on but made it through.
That really helped me, knowing that it's OK to find it tough. You can have a moan, bit of a weep, scream your head off etc. But you get there.
I'm in high spirits today because I feel sort of normal again so feeling optimistic. I've been trying to keep busy to keep my mind off it but on a Sunday afternoon/evening I'm drawing a blank, any suggestions?
I've had the bath and already been on a 5k today haha. I'm doing crosswords instead.
My choice would be logic problems, rubbish at crosswords
Hello and welcome...I play minion rush when I get fidgety..takes my mind off and gives me something to do with my glands
5 days is brilliant - over the worst now, can only get eaiser
Hey well done Kirstie, you are doing so well. Keep up the good work and keep smiling xx
