Wow
Fantastic your doing a grand job, your right it is hard, but some times I read long term quitters posts, it does say life becomes ssoooo much easier,
Yeah I remember the first 3 days, horrible!! You'll never have to do it again though as long as you remember NOPE. Not one puff ever.
Good luck for today.
Thanks everybody! Taking dog for a long walk this morning with the wife ( who is still smoking at the moment ). I must admit I already feel healthier I think it's the circulation thing, more oxygen and stuff. Still feel a bit weird.
Thanks for all the replies and have a nice weekend if your not working like I am
Regards Paul
Thank you Jenny and Sue I never really thought about it like that. If I don't have another cig then I will never have to go through this horrible first week again. After all it must get easier.
mmmmm interesting
Oh it does get easier, each minute, hour, day makes it easier. You're probably getting the urge to smoke constantly at the moment but try turning it on it's head.
You smile and enjoy the urges because you think.
That is when I would have smoked, I would have poisoned myself and the only thing that would have happened is that in 1 hours time I would get the urge again and poison myself again. It is never ending.
I imagine thousands of death sticks lined up behind that one 'harmless' little cigarette you want to smoke.
If you don't smoke that one cigarette the urges fade and there is an end to it.
Smoke and the craving will be there all your shorter more painful life.
