Day 47 - better!!

Hiya, well first off thanks yet again to all the lovely people who have helped me over the past couple of days. it's amazing that there's so many genuine, lovely people who care so much!!

It's been pretty hellish, and without you guys, I'd definitely be smoking now. :eek: Not because I want to - believe me that's the last thing I want (or I'd be doing it) but because the feeling that there's no alternative is absolutely overwhelming and terrifying.

But I'm not. And I won't smoke today either!!

Am feeling a lot better - it's sunny, which definitely helps, and the weekend too

Was doing the shopping this morning, and it hit me at the checkout that it was brilliant not to be getting cravy for a fag!!

The shop was busy and waiting in a queue, plus people who always manage to blunder about in the flipping way used to mean I'd spark up as soon as i got out, but I don't have to

So I'm getting the freedom feeling back, even though I do slightly crave, smoking for today at least, is not an option!!

Am going to be off out this afternoon, enjoying the sunshine and the smells of fresh air and how would inhaling burnt leaves make that any better?

Crack on kiddo! You're darn right - you are going to have a lovely afternoon and if the stinky little oik should raise his ugly mug then BASH HIM!!!!

Have an extra one for me, I am about to brave cutting the back lawn - still, it's in full sun so that will render an uninviting chore soooooo much more bearable!

Am glad the smell of smoke is really offputting to me now, being with a couple of smokers this afternoon (upwind :p) should refresh my memory of why I quit!!

Glad today is better for you Gem,you seem to get through those bad patches and come out the other side,so your obviously doing something right

I think these episodes will come further apart and now you know you CAN handle them I can see you going all the way now

We will get bad days,sometimes really awful days but knowing we got what it takes to get through let's. Us see the light at the end....The Penthouse Light
