Looks like all my hard work has paid off. Had an interview at an art college to do a fine art degree last week. and today they offered me a place. Wow im so happy, at last there is something to look forward to. i was beginning to think the best part of my life had gone by. maybe this is the prize for quitting smoking , its a totally negative anti life thing to do and now life is saying here you go babes now do something you've put off for far too long. It'll mean uprooting myself if i accept the place. I have another 4 potential interviews coming up 2 of which are in my area but I think i'm ready for a HHHooooooge jump and challenge.Thought about a smoke after i got the news they always went well together in the old days. Now i do everything smokeless, its just as good if not better.

I haven't signed on to this site in such a long time!!! I'm so sorry to see you had a relapse last year and even more sorry for not being around to help. So proud of you for getting back on the quitting wagon so fast and doing so well again (you've had major stress along with your quit so totally understandable!). All my thoughts, love and quitting voodoo are being sent your way. Good luck with your course.
Yes, you're certainly affirming life. It would have been too hard to go to college these days as a smoker - colleges are just not "smoker friendly' at all.
Quitting smoking does give everyone a second chance at life I think and i'm so pleased that you've grabbed that chance and turned it into something very worthwhile.
