Kate - I found sucking on a inhalator did it where patches didn't...the best thing u did tho is join this forum.......click quick links and social groups and join the Jan freedom fighters - Debs will for sure let u in and we will all support u through ur quit - ups and downs! go on - u know u want to x

Yes, the first weekend can be hard...it was irrationally hard for me.

I guess it's because it's a time where we would normally smoke 'carefree'.

I can't offer much help, except to say: I'm a few weeks quit now...and it gets easy.

Nice to meet you Kate glad to see you have joined FF we are all a friendly bunch on there if a bit nutty the first week is hard, and I totally get what you mean about the first weekend, but you've done it now you've got that FIRST out of the way you will never have to do it again...also in my experience the 2nd week is what I would call a happy week it was pretty drama free and relatively plain sailing, hope it will be for you too, keep at it xx
