Day 37 and my last day of actually being 37 :)

So day 37.... Off out with the girls tonight for what I call a proper night out.. heading into Bristol to frequent all the pubs and bars... Now I'm not gonna lie, I am worried.. Very worried... There's 10 of us going out and of those 10 only myself and 1 other is a non smoker...socialising and not smoking doesn't mix well for me hence me practically not stepping outside the door in the past 5 weeks :eek:

This morning I was talking utter garbage to my husband saying "I am over this giving up lark, what if I have a fag" blah blah blah... I know it's stupid cos I'm not going to have one but it's on my mind... He rightly said if I wasn't going out with my friends it wouldn't even of entered my head, so this is Nic getting to me psychologically and I have to deal with it, if I could get out of going out I would but I really can't they have arranged it cos I am twenty eighteen tomorrow :D

Of course, one tactic could be to stick to soft drinks... not easy when it's your night and everyone is wanting to buy you birthday drinks I know, but perhaps you could tell a white lie (on antibiotics is a good one).

However, I think you'll be fine. Just make sure you have plenty of NRT with you and as Debbie says, it's hardly the weather or time of year to want to be outside anyway.

Thanks all, I won't have a fag definitely not, just won't be able to get too tipsy or my resolve won't be as strong :/ and ur right, the weather is horrendous no way do I want to be stood out in it... It's gonna be a toughie I know that but I can't hide away forever! X

I have my patch on, that's all I use and it works fine it's just when I lost my October quit it was through going out and having a drink with my friends, I won't do it this time, but I bet there will be tears before bedtime cos I will really want one, I know I will....xx
