Day 2 would usually be sneaking out for smoke while kids eat breakfast. Having a cuddle with them instead. Cravings definitely there but I know having one would make me sick. Feeling pretty relaxed this morning, I'll be quicker getting ready without sneaking outside so I can relax a bit.

Just back, carbon monoxide reading was 3!!

It's not a full 24 hrs for me until 12.30pm so I'm really pleased with that.

Spent my fag money on a tonne of fruit and one of those special long candle lighters which means that I can throw out all my normal lighters today no excuses. All ashtrays and secret piles of fag ends outside will be going today too.

Don't know if this is a good idea or no, but maybe keep a couple of fag ends (if they're dry) in a jar so when you crave you can sniff then - it's b.loody vile!!

I've got one of those pocket type ashtrays and have left about 4 ends in it, having a sniff of that is enough to make me want to heave, not smoke :eek::eek:

Good idea about buying candle lighters too, if I can bear to sling my bear lighters (see what i did there? :p) I'll do that!!

Tough day today. Craving like mad and completely knackered.

They do say the first 3 days are the real stinkers so hopefully by the weekend we'll both be on the up

Yep I really could. Unsleeping so heavily too and struggling to get up in the mornings. This is my best shot though so not giving in. It would taste disgusting a did probably feel sick anyway

I found day one tough. Day 2 half as tough. Ditto day 3.

Basically each day seemed twice as easy to deal with as the previous one, with very rare exceptions. And even the exceptions have been OK.
