well, today at work It was announced we are to be inspected for a week starting Monday, and my department is to be prodded, poked and observed all over....now this is going to be a test! It is the first time I thought '****** hell I could do with a fag right now' argghhhh!

When they visited my Mrs's school all the staff were there until 1am producing reports and statistics! Crazy!

There must be a better way, these inspections are totally bonkers.

Good luck with it anyway and you don't need anyone to tell you that smoking wouldn't ever be the answer to anything.

We have been told the college will remain open Saturday and Sunday 9-9pm to get prepared...I will be crawling on my knees by next Friday

do hope it went well and you can let us know how it went when official, know the stress it puts you under, we had our visit this week, yes!!!! one week before the end of term, Christmas rehearsals were shelved, Christmas dinner went ahead everything else was 7-part lessons...nearly set up a bed in my room I was there that long each day grrrrrrr!:mad::mad:

hey ho, we were 'satisfied' with the result, and no time to even thing about smoking!!

How wonderful for all of you to ask-very much appreciated, well, I can tell you they were in for a week-I was observed twice and I did absolutely fine-great infact

I was very very stressed-didn't want to let my department down, but I am happy to report that I DID NOT CRUMBLE...I am a non-smoker sadly my colleague started to smoke on Tuesday-so gutted

The college did fantastic-but unable to say how well we did, as the report isn't issued until February......So pleased I got through the toughest working week of my life.......but didn't even think about lighting up-My confidence has doubled since I have stopped....strange that isn't it xxx

Really pleased to see you came through with that precious quit intact AND felt that it went well - what more could we have hoped for? Surviving major stress factors like that and doing so without hitting Crave City is a major rite of passage for us new ex-smokers so be very, very, VERY proud of yourself!:cool:
