so day 25 today and 10 days nicotine free Ive shouted at two people this week lol but to be fair they deserved it just my lid wasnt tightly put on due to being nicotine free ha ha
I will admit the last 2 or 3 days have been TOUGH! I have been bloated, constipated as hell! and just feeling really heavy! this is the one thing i do like about smoking is it keeps my weight down and bloating down! so you can imagin this was really setting off my cravings and testing my resolve. I had to keep thinking it will get better over and over again and trust that the eating will slow down, the body will re-ajust and the cravings will go!
Well today, I feel so much better! Im watching what i eat and staying away from wheat that bloats me anyways and I just feel more relaxed!
I can feel freedom is not too far away, im not quite there yet but I am starting to believe what the more experienced quiters say about holding on and giving it time! so people on day 1,2,3 etc please hold on! its not that bad xxxxx

You are over the worst days now. But as Max says, it's still a gradual process. As each day and week goes by now, you'll think about smoking less and less.
Any time you think of smoking, just remember, you don't want to have to do those early days again. And every day you say NO, it will add on to your tally and before you know it you'll be flying along.

Great news Nikki.
The more you say no the easier it gets. It's like your subconscious needs to go through these obstacles and experience proof that we don't actually want to smoke, before it accepts it and starts to move forward.

Once you've got that nailed its plain sailing! x
I think you 100% on that. Thats why new cravings come during new things like the first holiday because we havent taught ourselfs we dont smoke on that occasion still!
Thanks guys, and max im not expecting a eurika moment tbh, im expecting one day ill just realise oh not thought about it at all today! and from there just get on with my life!
Im actualy SCARED to smoke now, i know 1 will be a full time smoker again and i dont even want to feel that one puff surge through my body, i really dont! I remember from before...you think 'ahh' for a microsecond and then you feel that discomfort you felt as a smoker that horrible feeling in your stomache and you realise 'what have i done'!?.....nah not this time! xx
You are doing alright ! Each day is different some easier than others. But savour THIS - IT WILL get better. You are CLEAN and Fresh and light in your mind without NASTY NIC there. Well done. FEEL PROUD AND SAY IT LOUD ! Wooooooo Hoooooo xx
Yeehaw Nikki! You're almost there! It's bound to get better! I keep reminding myself of that and we have all these brilliant examples all around us on this forum. Be proud!
