Hi people ,4 months now since I had my last puff on the dreaded weed, and I'm now feeling the benefits of it ,put on over a stone in the first 3 months ,but I'm now starting to lose that,I don't cough any more ,I've got more stamina ,I don't get short of breath ,mind I still get the odd craving ,but nothing to worry about ,for those that dont know me, I got diagnosed with myeloma .(bone cancer ) back in march ,treatable but no cure ,I'm 58 years old, smoked for over40 yrs ,they said it would be better if I could pack up smoking, and I was looking for a reason to give it up anyway,so now I had one,it wasn't easy with the extra worry of all this going on, I had radiopherpy on a tumer in my shoulder ,and now have blood tests evrey 2 months ,just to keep on top of it,so if I can give it up any one can,a bit of willpower and support can get you a long way,and as I say, onwards and upwards ,:)
