Welcome to the penthouse. Hope your room is as good as mine.

Fantastic achievement Angry Bear, well done!!! You are an inspiration :D:D
Big congratulations Angry bear, you must be so proud of the last year, quitting smoking and running a half marathon - awesome!!
Congratulations and welcome to the Penthouse Steve.
Great work Mr Bear. All the very best, Esso.
Angry Bear. Has it really been a year? Get in. So very very chuffed for you.

All the best

Sorry & thank you....
Sorry about the delay in acknowledgement :o, my work's changed a bit and my routines are all over the place......thank you to everyone who noticed and took the time to leave me a message, it seems like longer than a year, which in itself seemed so far away when I first logged onto this forum.
My NRT has been this forum, I've been fortunate that I have only needed that so far. Without everyone who posts I would not have got this far.
The beauty of it all is that it becomes a way of life, smoking has become something I used to do (like combing hair haha! :D)....I don't miss it, which is the biggest miracle of the lot, so thank you to everyone who's given me this freedom
Well done Bear, one whole year. Can't wait to get to where you are, you've been a rock on this forum and I'm really pleased for you. Blooming well done sir!
I'm not here as often as I once was; life in the Penthouse has a way of preoccupying me.
But today I get word that Angry Bear has joined us and I couldn't be happier. Yaba daba do, baby!
I think da Bear would agree with me - we're just ordinary people who put one day in front of another and plodded along until the Penthouse loomed straight ahead.
Meaning, YOU CAN DO IT TOO. It's not rocket science, it's persistence and posting and getting stronger and stronger.
So AB, how's it feel? Isn't it amazing? And doesn't it feel like you're home, right where you belong?
Thanks Hawk & DGee, it just feels like it's the way things are now, it seems so long ago now that I smoked
Congrats AB. New you would do it xxx
big CONGRATULATIONS AB! Are you still running? you must be pretty fast by now !!
Thanks Woo, Shelly & Chuurles......yes I'm still plodding, a long term recurring leg "injury" keeps holding me up, but I'm still getting out there.....another Half Marathon looms in October....
Way to go Bear! It's been quite a journey, I know, but I'm sure you're overjoyed at looking back and realizing you've made it!!!
Alex.
good to hear Bear
iv starting running on the back deck of the ship i work on.. but the corners are to tight and it F&^%'s up my hips and ankles so now i walk/jog really slow thru corners and run down the straights.. gotta work with what you've got i guess!
Thanks Alex, good to hear from you! And Chuurles, getting out there is all that counts...
Well done Angry Bear. Sorry for the very late reply but i simply forget to log onto here nowdays.
A year is a great benchmark. I still felt at this stage of my quit i had to be vigilant. 15 months is where life begins
