Grrrrr I do not get this. I am so pleased to have made it to the 2 month mark and the nasty little s****y Nic voice is saying, go on have one to celebrate!!! What on earth is that all about? I don't want a cigarette at all!!!! Has this happened to anyone else or am I just going mad?

You're definitely not going mad!!

It's the way the addiction works - all very unpleasant but I had similar myself, from way early on in my quit as well :/

From my last long term quit though I can say eventually you just don't notice or care any more apart from the odd thought about having one.

Completely normal Mrs,the old fag trigger kicking in-reward and sympathy,both extreme and both warranting a fag in our bad old faggy brains.

Just ignore it and it will go away-these things ALWAYS go away eventually and then after more than a few months,they barely get a second glance.

Thank goodness for that! It's just really weird as I haven't been craving at all!!!

Thx Vicki!! I will certainly get through this - I am very determined but it's just odd and came out of the blue!!!!! Be aware....nasty Nic can strike at any time. Watch your back!!!

We are all feeling your pain, I have the same problem at the moment, I spent 2 hours Friday night justifying why I could have a cigarette on Saturday night despite the fact I haven't smoked since 12th April, so agree what is that all about.

Thankfully I didn't smoke the long argued about cigarette on satuday so still clean.

Definately beware that monster despite dying is still very persuasive.
