I feel wonderful today. Had a bad craving last night but got through it very well.
I bragged by me dr this morning that i DO NOT SMOKE ANYMORE, and he almost fell off his chair. I could see he did not think i was going to do it and i showed him!!!
Let's do this!

First, thank you for the support i get on this website. It means a huge deal to me. Support is very important as you all know.
That is what make me so angry, i just found out how little two of my family members think of my victory and effort i put into quitting. I was told it is ok if i start smoking again, i just need to stop again. :eek:
HELLOOOO, the point is to stop, like i did and not to do it again. She just assumed i will fail, even though this is my first try and i'm at my third day!!!!!!

I'm a bit annoyed.......:mad::mad:
That sucks vicki! Just use the anger to enhance your sheer determination to succeed. People who have never smoked will never understand how difficult it is to quit smoking!

That's families for you hun - especially never-smokers.
My dad didn't say it at the time but he gave my quit a week (now who's laughing?) and while not smoking for a day/week/month etc is a huge deal to us to them it's just - well they don't get it!!
But you're doing fab, and we're here to give you loads of support
Sjt13, i can already feel that i actually forget that i smoked alot of times during the day.
Good news, my sister stopped smoking as well.
Vicki,
It's great that you sound so positive in your quit, and great that your sister has stopped too, but a word of caution regarding 'quit buddies' - sometimes these turn into a 'who can hold out the longest' competition. Not saying it will in your case, just that it can. Never forget the main reason you're quitting is YOU!!
Prove them all wrong and metaphorically extend your middle finger in their faces in the process.
I have to wonder if the people who seem to be encouraging you to fail are jealous because they know they don't have the strength to do what you're doing.
