Hey, so its easier for me to post from day 1 again as this is day one of being NICOTINE free as well as smoke free :D

So im about 9 hours into my cold turkey quit now. I feel really good about it actually. I am quit enjoying the whole feeling spaced out bit. My belly is also really tight? like the muscles are all tense up lol cant believe a stupid little stick makes our bodies behave like this.

I feel ready though. I am not dreading the next few days at all. Its abit...annoying as the withdrawal stage is going interfere with what i do this weekend to a certain point but I just want to get this bit over and done with so i can carry on with my life as a non smoker. No more waking up and thinking 'ahhhhh fag' it disgusts me thats what i think about while still lying in bed!

I did have a bad patch at the 6 hour mark. I then realised i was 1/12 done already! and that was a piece of cake!

anyways - im sure ill be back to update - thanks for listening xxx

Well done Nikki! :) How are you feeling today?

You sound great and so so positive. I also am really happy to have stopped at an early age (24) as this should hopefully mean our bodies will recover enough to not notice this damage we have caused.

Looking forward to more of these posts from you!! Xxx

oooo, thought for a sec you had caved and gone back to day 1 completely (serves me for missing the forum for a few days:)).

Good on you Nikki for kicking the NRT too. I did with my patches early and didn't feel the need for them. You will get the cravings anyway as a lot is in the mind and is associated behaviour. I will look in later for your day 2 post :D:D xx

Also i didnt wanna have no choice about quitting like because of a disease etc younger we are the better r amoking will go un noticed in r bodies! Happy to see u here sarah lou :D
