Day 19

Day 19 and I am feeling really, really strong today! I am finding more and more that I don't think about cigarettes. It's funny, when I realize that I haven't thought about them it always surprises me and I have to smile to myself. Also according to my phone app "When did I last smoke", I have now saved $100 - That is exciting! I think I need to "reward" myself. Life is good!! I can do this. If you do not have this app, (or something similar), I would strongly suggest you download it to your phone or computer. I have it on my phone and if I am feeling 'weak', I look at it and it reminds me how far I have come and makes me not want to screw up by having one. Hope everyone has an awesome - smokeless day - WE CAN DO THIS!

Well done Linda I love these apps (I have two on my phone!) and, like you say, a quick glance can make you realise just how much you'd be losing if you gave in.

Two months on and I've not smoked 590 cigarettes. :eek: It's astonishing, considering that I only ever smoked ten a day.

It's flipping scary!!

I ended up smoking about 20 a day by the end - always used to be a light smoker until the last year :rolleyes:

But that's what my app says, and it under-estimates 'cos I used to smoke more than that on nights out, when I was bored, fed up and so on.

That little lot would make a line of fags 1.4 miles long :eek:
