Fist Pump Moment

So I took my e-cig out with me on Friday night and managed to get rather drunk by 9pm :eek: Went outside with a friend to have an e-puff and found that my battery had run out! I'd forgotten to charge it and assumed it would be fine.

Definately had a bit of a panic, but pulled myself together and stayed out until 1am with nothing more than a little passive smoking (went outside with a couple of smoker friends when I realised they were ditching me to have a fag) and lots more booze!

Was very happy with myself on Saturday morning, as that's the first time I've been really tipsy AND had to say no to smoking

That's fantastic hon - there's a big difference between consciously preparing yourself to have a night out without using your e-cig and having it thrust upon you because the blasted thing isn't charged! But despite not planning it you have TRIUMPHED!!! Well done petal, you are soooo moneysupermarket!:D

Thanks Kat. Yes, really pleased that it didn't affect me too much. I did go outside with the smokers (think this made me feel a bit better about not actually smoking somehow?!) but it didn't really bother me much and I soon went back inside when I realised I was making myself cold for no reason!!

It's really great isn't it? And I spent a lot of time with my 3 year old niece this weekend, as well as my sister and brother in law who are non smokers. It felt so normal not to smoke that I just forgot about it most of the time!

I only tend to want my e-cig now when I'm bored or if I've had a really bad day, so I'm definately progressing! X

WOOHOO that's fab!!

To be able to go out with your friends while you're tipsy and they're smoking with no "backup" shows how solid your quit is now

And I bet you felt better in the morning for not having smoked!!
