Made it to day 4 and had some good news

Hi

Well, I have somehow made it to day 4..............been with 2 smokers this morning and on the way to their house the little devil perched on my shoulder was telling me " just have 1, you dont need to do it infront of the children, they will never know................go on, just 1" when I got there I found myself not wanting one at all, sat and chatted while they smoked and it didnt bother me one bit

I then got home and have received my hospital appointment for my (verry minor) op....................30th April.........................YAY me, very excited (i know thats sounds odd) but I just want to get it all sorted.

Hopefully today will carry on being a good one

It's brilliant to be on day 4, be with smokers and not want a fag - that's really some willpower you've got there

And great news about your op too - you'll be able to tell them you're a non-smoker :cool:

Ooooh, also, went to see OH and my birthday present had arrived that he ordered (its not until June!!) a pair of THE MOST AMAZING Doctor Marten boots...............I resisted the urge to bring them home today lol

It's definately a great reason to keep going

My quit started when I was poorly (and I always gave up then anyway), so I don't really have that "Day 1" memory. The fears cam later on for me really! Lol

you faced the demon and the demon lost!! pesky little git trying to talk people round, he does make me soooo :mad:. bet you notice the smell on your hair and clothes now.

Just think how great you will be for your operation, I was really smug when i had a normal blood pressure reading and 99% oxygen level on Tuesday- great feeling :D

ASs for your DMs, maybe bring them home, we may have a heat wave in June...she says hopefully
